Hi, I'm Elle Boyd-Conney. I've been a member of the Cats Exclusive staff for 61/2 years. I have four cats; three of which I adopted from Cats Exclusive.

Originally from Northern Ireland, I've lived in the United States for 10 years, and intend to be a part of the Cats Exclusive team for a long time to come!

Hello, my name is Ed Torres.  I have been a veterinary technician, for the most part, for almost 30 years.

While fulfilling a three year obligation in the U.S. Army, I served in the Army Veterinary Corps.  Stationed in the Washington, D.C. area, I had the opportunity to attend the University of Maryland.

The changes and improvements in the veterinary field that I have seen have been monumental.  We here at Cats Exclusive are fortunate to work at a facility that prides itself in implementing modern diagnostics, medicines and nursing.

As for me, some of my down time involves New York Yankees baseball, various arts & crafts, golf and most recently, radio-controlled cars and airplanes.

Hi there, I'm Dirk McCoy.  I've been a member of the Cats Exclusive team for 7 months now, having moved to the area from central New Jersey, where I last worked at the Pleasant Valley Cat Clinic.  I've been a veterinary technician for over 12 years, working with everything from small animals to equine, bovine and exotic animals.  I prefer working with cats because I feel that there is so much to learn about cat medicine.

When I'm not tending to animals, I'm pursuing a career as a professional opera singer.  Within the year that I have lived in the area, I've performed with New York City Opera, DiCapo Opera Theatre, Pacific Opera and in concert with singers from the Metropolitan Opera.  Before moving to New Jersey, I lived in the Washington, D.C. area, where, along with my 6 years of work at PetVacx Animal Hospital, I sang at The Washington Opera and many other venues, including a concert at the White House for President and Mrs. Clinton.

I live in Passaic, NJ with Lisa, my wife of 6 1/2 years, who is also a professional opera singer.  We are "owned" by our three beloved cats (two of which we adopted from Cats Exclusive), Figaro, Theo and Pia.

Hi, I'm DJ Bono, and I am currently completing my externship for my Veterinary Technology degree at County College of Morris.

Before coming to Cats Exclusive, I've worked at a large pet store and kennels, and I've volunteered at the Newark Museum Mini-Zoo and an animal adoption center.

I enjoy dentistry the most, and always advise cat owners to be more aware of dental diseases and the important link between good dental health and overall health in cats.

I came to know Cats Exclusive on my way to a friend's house in May, 2002.  I thought it was a cat store.  I stopped by the next day, and found that Cats Exclusive was a cat-only hospital.  I asked if they were looking for technicians, was interviewed, and I've been here ever since!

I currently have three cats: Baby II, Chief 4 and Mocha 3.  In my spare time I enjoy skiboarding, knitting and reading.

Hi!  My name is Gabriela Ysalquez, but you can call me Gabby.  I am 20 years old, and graduated with North Bergen High School's class of 2000.

All through high school, I worked in retail, and at one point managed tha Nine West shoe store in Newport Center Mall, Jersey City.  Getting tired of retail, I wanted to do something with animals, so I found a position as a receptionist at North Bergen Animal Hospital, working with everything from dogs to reptiles and even fish!   Since age 4, I've had an everlasting love for animals.  Becky, Chucky and Princess, my first pets, were all dogs, and I loved them tremendously! 

To be honest, cats were never my favorite until I found a place here at Cats Exclusive.  I have been the receptionist here for 6 months now, and am a loving owner of Princey, my new 6 month old kitten.  HE'S SO CUTE!!!  I adopted him at a month old, and couldn't be happier.

Working with our patients here at Cats Exclusive is pleasurable and comfortable to both the employees and our clients.  The Cats Exsclusive family is very special to me!

Hello, my name is Arlene, and I come from a Hispanic heritage.  I am currently in my 3rd year of college, majoring in Graphic Design.   My plans for the future include a promising career in graphic design, in addition to volunteer work at several organizations.

I have had the wonderful opportunity to work at Cats Exclusive since 1995.  Currently, I am only working a few days a week; however, each time I come to work I am truly excited to help each and every cat, as well as give them the love they deserve.
